Gerry Riddell joined MAVERICK in July 1999 and is a seasoned veteran of the PR business spending more than 20 years on the agency side. He spent the previous five years at Cohn & Wolfe/Toronto as Vice-President, Business Manager and seven years at Burson-Marsteller Canada (then the world''s largest PR firm) where he held the position of Financial Manager. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Riddell is accountable for managing timely and accurate billing of clients. As a member of the management team he has made a commitment to the simplification of processes and improvement in efficiencies and effectiveness. He also oversees the financial management of the company. Mr. Riddell is responsible for providing value-based leadership, direction, support and assistance to the consultants at MAVERICK. Mr. Riddell has a B.B.M. in finance/accounting from Ryerson University and has been a professional member of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario (CMA) since 1992. He is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys golfing, biking and squash. He was also a past member of the board of directors at the Markland Woods Country Club. Gerry lives in Toronto with his long time partner and best friend, Julie Rusciolelli.
