Kevin's article in the Toronto Star was written in tandem with recent news from the government introducing new guidelines attempting to bring order to Canadian charities. According to the article and a series of investigative reports from The Star, many organizations are spending donation dollars on expensive fundraisers, and administration costs as opposed to going directly to the cause at hand.
