The 16th Annual Venetian Ball took place on October 30, 2009, bringing Carnavale to downtown Toronto.

This elegant fundraiser raised $1,008,000 for Villa Charities Foundation, and brought Toronto's top movers and shakers out to mingle.

Special guests to this years' Ball included Don Novello, better known as Father Guido Sarducci from Saturday Night Live and Eligio Paties, Owner and Domenico Di Gesù and Chef of Trattoria Do' Forni in Venice. Special musical guests include Toronto's own Simply Grand and a surprise appearance and performance by the one and only Frankie Valli.

All funds raised help Villa Charities provide culturally sensitive care to improve the quality of life for seniors, increase the confidence level of individuals with intellectual disabilities who learn new job and life skills and continue the cultural programming that inspires the community.
