Leveraging superb writing skills and extensive executive client relations experience, Stephen tailors marketing and communications campaigns to meet the exacting needs of MAVERICK clients. As a founding member of MAVERICK, he has led several award-winning brand marketing campaigns and offers specialized knowledge in an array of sectors from enterprise B2B applications through to consumer-focused branding initiatives.
As Senior Vice-President, Client Services, Stephen oversees the quality and execution of all client programs and leads the agency's media training, brand messaging and social media functions. He has conducted branding and marketing programs for dozens of organizations during his career, including TD Bank, PeopleSoft Canada, Waterfront Toronto, Deloitte Consulting, Citrix Systems, Diamond & Schmitt Architects, Network Appliance, and Arnold Worldwide Advertising.
He has an M.A. in English from Carleton University in Ottawa and was Editor-in-Chief of Carleton's newspaper, The Charlatan. He lives in Toronto with his wife, Globe and Mail journalist Carolyn Abraham.
